During our Easter opening, we hope that all our visitors had a nice time at the Park and Tearooms. We particulalry enjoyed meeting our new Cycling Club guests and the Classic Car club with their amazing vehicles.
Here at Mistley Place Park we have over 1,000 rescued animals at any one time, and the number of animals continues to increase daily. Those currently being looked after, which visitors to the park can see, include: goats, sheep, ducks, guinea pigs, dogs, chickens, cats, horses, rabbits, alpacas, plus the occasional peacock!
While we are closed today (Monday 24th April), the Tearooms and Park will be OPEN on the next bank holiday, Monday 1st May. We look forward to welcoming all our new and regular visitors, and hope that the weather makes it a wonderful day for all.
STILL NEEDED: VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WITH THE RESCUED ANIMALS
Many thanks to all our loyal visitors and customers for your ongoing support. However, we urgently need additional volunteers to help look after the animals. If you are able to help or know anyone who may be interested (min age 21), please contact the tearooms on 01206 396 048 or send an email to email@example.com
Meet our Alpacas, Izzy and Tiber
Come and meet our newest guests at the Park....Izzy and Tiber, our friendly Alpacas from South America, famous for their fiber, used for making knitted and woven items.
Each animal in the Park needs care and feeding, and whilst the staff dedicate their time to the well-being of the animals, the cost of running the Animal Rescue Centre needs to be met by charging an entrance fee
, by the tearooms
, and of course by generous donations
from the public.
Out tearooms are outside of the animal park, and offer great value meals
and afternoon teas
. Our extremely popular roast dinners
are available on Wednesdays
and we cater for fish lovers every Friday
with our 'chip-shop style' fish and chips
, all cooked to perfection.
If you would like to pay us a visit, make a donation, enjoy our tearooms or simply find out more, please contact:
